Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” — Mark 16:15
There are moments in ministry that remind us why we answer God’s call. Moments when the message of the cross reaches hearts that have long been searching for hope. Moments when Heaven rejoices because another soul has found its way home.
Our June Evangelistic Crusades were one of those moments.
From June 3rd to June 13th, Saved & Free Evangelistic Ministry embarked on a mission that took the Gospel from Malete to Ore, bringing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to communities hungry for hope, healing, and salvation.
By the grace of God, 1,715 people heard the Gospel, and 57 individuals made the life-changing decision to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.
While these numbers are encouraging, they represent something far greater than statistics. Behind every number is a person. Behind every person is a story. And behind every story is the immeasurable love of God.
Answering the Great Commission
The heartbeat of Saved & Free Evangelistic Ministry has always been simple—to make Christ known and to see lives transformed through the power of the Gospel.
Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19 continues to guide our mission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”
This command is not reserved for pastors or missionaries alone. It is the calling of every believer. As a ministry, we remain committed to taking this message beyond church walls and into streets, communities, and open fields where many people may never have another opportunity to hear the Gospel.
That commitment led us to organize two open-air crusades, trusting God to do what only He can do.
Preparing for the Mission
Every successful outreach begins long before the first microphone is switched on.
Weeks of preparation went into planning these crusades. Prayer meetings were held, volunteers committed their time, evangelism teams went into communities, logistics were carefully coordinated, and countless hours were spent preparing every detail.
Our media team documented every step of the journey, our worship team prepared to lead hearts into God’s presence, counselors readied themselves to receive new believers, and intercessors covered the outreach in prayer.
Although much of this work happened behind the scenes, every effort played a vital role in what God accomplished during these meetings.
Malete: A Community Encountered by Grace
The first stop on our journey was Malete, where the atmosphere quickly became charged with anticipation.
As worship filled the air, residents gathered from different parts of the community. Families arrived together. Young people stood expectantly. Children watched with curiosity. The sound of praise echoed through the evening as hearts were prepared to receive God’s Word.
When the Gospel was preached, it was presented with simplicity, compassion, and the power of the Holy Spirit. The message was clear: salvation is available to everyone through Jesus Christ.
As the invitation to follow Christ was given, many responded with sincere hearts.
For many in attendance, this was more than another event—it became a divine appointment with God.
Ore: The Gospel Continues Its Journey
The outreach continued in Ore, where another community gathered to hear the Good News.
Despite different backgrounds and life experiences, one thing united everyone present: the need for hope.
Through worship, prayer, and biblical teaching, lives were encouraged, burdens were lifted, and hearts were opened to receive Christ.
The response was deeply moving. Men and women stepped forward to publicly declare their decision to follow Jesus, while counselors prayed with them and shared the next steps of their new journey of faith.
It was another reminder that God’s love knows no boundaries.
More Than Crowds—Lives Were Changed
Large gatherings can be impressive, but the true measure of ministry is transformed lives.
During these crusades:
2 Open-Air Crusades
1,715 People Reached
57 Decisions for Christ
Each person who responded represents an eternal story rewritten by God’s grace.
Some came burdened by fear.
Others arrived searching for answers.
Many simply accepted an invitation from a friend or family member.
But they all encountered the same Savior.
Jesus Christ.
He remains the One who forgives sin, restores broken lives, heals wounded hearts, and offers the gift of eternal life to all who believe.
The Power of Testimonies
One of the most memorable moments during the crusades came as new believers shared what God had done in their lives.
Standing before the congregation, they boldly testified of God’s goodness, reminding everyone that the Gospel is not merely a message to be heard—it is a reality to be experienced.
Their stories strengthened the faith of believers and encouraged others to respond to God’s invitation.
As Revelation 12:11 reminds us:
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”
Every testimony became a declaration that Christ is still transforming lives today.
Every Volunteer Made a Difference
No outreach of this scale happens through one individual alone.
We celebrate every volunteer who served faithfully throughout these crusades.
Our gratitude goes to:
- The prayer team who faithfully interceded before and during the meetings.
- The worship team who led the congregation into heartfelt praise and worship.
- The evangelism team that invited communities and shared the Gospel beyond the crusade grounds.
- The counselors who lovingly received new believers and guided them through their first steps of faith.
- The technical and media teams who ensured every moment was captured and shared.
- Every supporter whose prayers and generosity made this mission possible.
Your faithful service became part of God’s greater story.
The Joy of Heaven
Perhaps the most beautiful outcome of these crusades cannot be measured by attendance figures or photographs.
According to Luke 15:7, Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents.
Imagine the celebration as 57 people made the decision to follow Jesus Christ.
That joy reminds us why evangelism matters.
It reminds us why we continue to go.
It reminds us why every soul is priceless.
The Mission Continues
Although these crusades have come to an end, the work is far from over.
Every new believer now begins a journey of discipleship, prayer, Bible study, and spiritual growth. Our commitment extends beyond the event itself as we continue to encourage and support those who responded to the Gospel.
At Saved & Free Evangelistic Ministry, we believe that true success is not only seeing people make decisions for Christ but also helping them grow into mature disciples who will share the Gospel with others.
Thank You for Standing With Us
To every partner, volunteer, church, donor, and prayer supporter, thank you.
Your encouragement, generosity, and faithful prayers helped make these crusades possible.
Because you stood with us, communities heard the Gospel.
Because you gave, lives were touched.
Because you prayed, souls were saved.
Together, we witnessed God move across two Nigerian towns, and we believe this is only the beginning.
Looking Ahead
The harvest is still plentiful.
There are more communities to reach, more lives to impact, and more hearts waiting to hear the message of salvation.
We invite you to continue partnering with Saved & Free Evangelistic Ministry through prayer, giving, and active participation in future outreaches.
Let us continue taking the Gospel where it is needed most, believing that every soul matters and every life transformed brings glory to God.
